    With their initial investment in StreetWise, Global Atlantic was able to “do good” where their employees and stakeholders live, work, and play.   

  • Strategic Alignment and Volunteer Champion Development 
    In 2021, Global Atlantic shifted from one-off sponsorships to a yearlong partnership model—marking a pivotal move toward sustained, mission-aligned collaboration. This inaugural year of partnership helped us identify core volunteer champions who played a critical role in shaping programming, driving internal engagement, and executing future initiatives. Regular check-ins allowed us to adapt to evolving company priorities and refine volunteer experiences based on employee feedback. 

  • $200K Investment Expands Programming and Launches Signature Initiative
    In 2022, Global Atlantic deepened its commitment to StreetWise with a $200,000 investment—transforming the partnership from volunteerism to long-term strategic collaboration. This investment enabled StreetWise to expand its Talent Services program from 50 to 200 job seekers annually and launch the Global Atlantic Scholars initiative, providing 100 job seekers with access to the StreetWise Bridge Program. 

    This year also marked the introduction of dedicated StreetWise internships at Global Atlantic, leading to four StreetWise job seekers securing technology internships and creating a direct talent pipeline between the two organizations. Together, we co-created a scalable engagement model that meets both community and business needs. 

  • $1M Investment Drives Transformational Growth
    Global Atlantic made a $1 million investment in 2023 that catalyzed StreetWise’s organizational growth. The funding helped expand our annual operating budget from $2.4M to $3.3M, enabling infrastructure improvements and increased program capacity. Most notably, graduate wages increased by 300%, reinforcing the long-term economic mobility impact of our work. 

    Internships and Hiring Align with Business Needs
    Global Atlantic expanded internship opportunities to include roles in finance and business administration—broadening the career pathways available to StreetWise job seekers. That same year, Global Atlantic hired its first full-time StreetWise alumni, advancing their internal goal of attracting dynamic, capable talent through purpose-driven pipelines.

    Honored with the StreetWise Partners Champion Award
    StreetWise recognized Global Atlantic at our Annual Partnership Breakfast for their leadership in advancing workforce equity. Their commitment exemplifies how corporate partnerships can drive real-world outcomes for underrepresented job seekers. 

    Launch of The Opportunity Pledge
    Global Atlantic played a founding role in launching The Opportunity Pledge, a call-to-action for companies to commit to inclusive hiring, mentorship, and career advancement for overlooked talent. Their early adoption and advocacy helped catalyze peer company engagement and elevate the visibility of the initiative across the sector.  

  • Launched Employee Ambassador Program to Boost Engagement
    In 2024, Global Atlantic launched a StreetWise Ambassador Program to recognize and empower high-engagement employees. This initiative fostered deeper internal buy-in, created leadership opportunities for passionate volunteers, and reinforced a culture of giving. Employees expressed increased pride and loyalty to a company that not only prioritizes purpose-driven partnerships—but also celebrates those who participate. 

    Event Space as a Platform for Engagement and Visibility
    By offering its office space for StreetWise programming, Global Atlantic created a low-lift, high-impact way to engage employees in meaningful volunteer opportunities. These events provided networking access to professionals from across industries—elevating employee experience while showcasing Global Atlantic’s commitment to community leadership. 

    Inclusive Hiring Reaches Key Milestone
    Global Atlantic’s partnership has now resulted in 14 StreetWise job seekers hired across internships and full-time roles. These hires reflect Global Atlantic’s ongoing commitment to building a diverse and capable talent pipeline—and demonstrate how purpose-driven partnerships can deliver measurable business results.

    As a featured partner in national campaigns and signature events, Global Atlantic continues to be recognized as a model of inclusive leadership and corporate citizenship. This alignment strengthens Global Atlantic’s employer brand and reinforces its position as a company where values and impact intersect. 

One of the highlights in 2022 was working with the StreetWise Program. I had the opportunity to meet with two interns and help prepare them for interviews. I was impressed with the questions asked and the enthusiasm both had for the program and their career.
