StreetWise Partners Joins Other Local Nonprofits to Raise Millions of Dollars as Part of Give to the Max Day: Greater Washington

Washington, DC – November 3, 2011. To help generate donations and build on the momentum of regional giving, on November 9th the Washington, DC, Region of StreetWise Partners will participate in Give to the Max Day: Greater Washington (www.give2max.org), a massive one-day online fundraiser to support local programs. More than a thousand nonprofits that serve the greater Washington region will ask donors to display their generosity in a region-wide competition to raise as much money as possible and gain as many supporters as possible.

On Thursday, October 20, StreetWise Partners hosted “Taste of Success,” a celebration of our life changing work, at the Carnegie Institution for Science in Washington, DC. Now in its fourth year, this premier tasting and sampling event brought together notable restaurants and over 300 business professionals to honor StreetWise Partners’ efforts to improve economic opportunities for low-income individuals.

NEW YORK CITY, NY March 25, 2011 – StreetWise Partners today announced that the Board of Directors has appointed Tracey Allard as the organization’s Executive Director and as a member of the Board of Directors, effective March 22, 2011.
