Rahul
Advani
Chairman & FounderEnergy Capital Partners
Rahul, a Founder and the Chairman of StreetWise Partners, is a Principal and founding team member of Energy Capital Partners, a private equity firm with over $6.5 billion under management. Previously, he was a junior member of the management team that built and successfully sold Orion Power Holdings, Inc., a $4 billion wholesale energy company. Rahul has also been a Director of Corporate Investment and Development for Starwood Hotels where he focused on large acquisitions and new build projects. Earlier in his career, Rahul was as an analyst within the investment banking division of Morgan Stanley. Prior to that, Rahul worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers in its Financial Advisory Services group. He received an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School in 2004 and a B.A. in mathematical economics in 1996 from Colgate University where he was also captain of the NCAA Division I men’s swim team. Rahul lives with his wife, Shibani, and daughter in New York City.

Tracey has been Executive Director at StreetWise Partners since March 2011. She has long been committed to supporting disadvantaged individuals and communities. Throughout her career, she has led results-driven community development, workforce development, and capacity-building initiatives. Her work has strengthened the efforts of practitioners through technical assistance, training, and research projects that stimulated dialogue and improved workforce development practices. Underlining her work is a staunch and passionate belief that given the right opportunities, disadvantaged individuals can thrive and be contributing members of society.
Tracey joins StreetWise Partners from her most recent position as the Director of Employment and Graduate Services at The HOPE Program. There she led the development and launch of an innovative sectoral program called GROCERYworks, which trains and places low-income job-seekers in career ladder opportunities in the food retail industry. She also held program positions at The Door, Public/Private Ventures, and Seedco.
Tracey succeeds Melanie Christianson, who joined StreetWise Partners in February 2008 and served as Interim Executive Director from June 2010 to April 2011. Mrs. Christianson recently moved back to England with her husband, Graeme, also a long time StreetWise Partners volunteer.

Orlando D. Ashford is a Managing Partner at Mercer, leading the firm's new business expansion in corporate board, CEO and C-suite effectiveness. Mr. Ashford also leads Mercer's consulting services in change management, diversity, and executive talent development. Previous, Orlando was the Chief HR and Communications Officer of Marsh and McLennan Companies, Inc. As Chief HR and Communications Officer, he served as the lead employee advocate for 50,000 employees in more than 100 countries. He and his team provided leadership on all aspects of Human Resources and Communications, including talent management, media relations and employee communications, diversity, compensation and benefits, and HR operations. Prior to Marsh & McLennan, Mr. Ashford was with the Coca-Cola Company, as Group Director of Human Resources for Eurasia and Africa based in Istanbul, Turkey. Previously, Mr. Ashford was Vice President, Global HR Strategy and Organizational Development for Motorola, Inc. He has also held leadership positions with Mercer Delta Consulting, Ameritech, and Andersen Consulting. In 2010, Mr. Ashford was named by Savoy Magazine as one of the “100 Most Influential Blacks in Corporate America”. He is a member of the Executive Leadership Council (ELC), and serves on advisory boards for Purdue University School of Technology, University of Virginia Darden School of Business, and Ladders.com. Mr. Ashford holds a BS in organizational leadership and an MS in industrial technology both from Purdue University. In 2006, he received Purdue University School of Technology Distinguished Alumni Award.

Andrew Beamon is a Client Service Manager with Gallup’s Healthcare Practice. There, Andrew leads consulting teams in leveraging human capital strategies to achieve business results for healthcare systems across the East Region. Andrew also is Gallup’s Community Builders Chairman and served as a StreetWise Partner mentor in spring 2011.
Andrew received his Bachelor’s degree in business with a concentration in hospitality and tourism administration from North Carolina Central University in Durham, North Carolina. He received his Master’s degree in organizational psychology from the University of Hartford. Andrew is an active member of the Greater Washington National Urban League, and the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Singleton Beato is an award winning Human Resources leader with over twenty years of business experience spanning various industries including advertising, financial services, banking, media, real estate development, fitness and entertainment. As part of the management team for the American Association of Advertising Agencies, and in her current role as Senior Vice President of Diversity and Inclusion Strategy, Singleton is responsible to oversee, design and/or support diversity and inclusion programming efforts that span the marketing and communications industry. In her previous role as Director of Human Resources for the marketing communications giant JWT, Singleton was responsible for the design, delivery and management of strategic people-centric programs for more than 700 employees. In 2009, Singleton established the first broad reaching and comprehensive Workforce Inclusion program for JWT. This successful pioneering effort was publicly acknowledged when the American Advertising Federation presented Singleton with the Educator award at the 2009 Diversity Achievement and Mosaic ceremony. Singleton serves on numerous Boards of Directors for the private, non-profit, and education sectors. Singleton lives in Teaneck, New Jersey, with her husband Marino, and son, Greyson.

Tim has been involved with StreetWise Partners for four years and was recently re-elected to his second two-year term on the Board of Directors. Timothy works at Compuware Corporation. Prior to this position, Timothy worked at InSource Consulting—a business and IT consulting firm catering to Federal Government, Finance and Insurance customers—as a Partner in the Federal Government Solutions Practice. Timothy has over 17 years of extensive experience working with Federal Government agencies in the Civilian, Military and Intelligence Communities, where he builds long-standing, trusted client relationships. Timothy’s experience includes: IT Systems Development and Integration, Change Management/Culture Change, Federal Financial Management, Human Capital Development, Data Warehousing (DW), and Business Process Reengineering (BPR). Prior to joining InSource, he worked for Gallup, Inc heading up Human Capital solution delivery solutions to Federal agencies in fast-paced, multi-cultural environments. Before joining Gallup, Timothy spent 13 years at American Management Systems (now CGI). He had P&L and business development responsibilities running Practice Areas in Data Warehousing and Human Capital Development. In addition, Timothy has served as a product manager at AMS. He developed and managed the product direction of a performance management and budget formulation IT system. His love of non-profit and government agencies stems from a desire to help the under-served populations in society. He received degrees in Industrial Management, Economics, and Political Science from Carnegie Mellon University. Timothy lives in Washington, DC with his partner, Bill, and is an active member in the art, music and performing arts of Washington, since 1993.

Ben has experience as a Partner, Officer, Director of the San Francisco program and a Board of Advisors member. Mr. Chrnelich is currently the Senior Vice President and Chief Administrative & Financial Officer of NYSE Technologies, a leader in providing complete connectivity, data management and transaction solutions for investment banks, broker dealers, hedge funds and financial markets throughout the world. Prior to joining the NYSE, Ben was the Chief Administrative Officer for Equity Sales and Trading at Lehman Brothers. Ben also has held positions as the Controller for Schwab Capital Markets and a Vice President - Finance at Robertson Stephens in San Francisco, and with PricewaterhouseCoopers in New York in their Capital Markets Audit and Business Advisory group. Ben is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and graduated from Lehigh University with a B.S. in Accounting.

Allison is a seasoned social enterprise leader with extensive experience in international business, economic development, and corporate social responsibility (CSR). She's dedicated her career to creating sustainable employment opportunities for underserved populations, and creating a positive future for workers and their families. Most recently, Allison was Executive Director of StreetWise Partners. Prior to this, she managed business development for Verite, a recipient of a 2007 Skoll Award that helps corporations find innovative solutions to workplace problems in over 70 countries. She also held senior management roles at the Center for Women & Enterprise, MusicMatters, and CitySoft Inc., a recipient of MIT's Socially Responsible Business Award. Devore began her career as a consultant for Accenture and KPMG's communications and technology strategy practice. She monitored the 1999 elections in South Africa and was a fellow in McKinsey & Co's nonprofit initiative. She has been an advisor to Investing in Media that Matters - at Sundance, America Forward, and the U.S. State Department's President's Interagency Council on Women, among others. She received her B.A. in Economics from U.C. Irvine and Master's in Public Policy from Harvard's Kennedy School of Government.

Brian is a Managing Director at Barclays Capital. He is responsible for several areas within technology including the award-winning “Barclays Capital Live” Research and Ecommerce platform. Prior to Barclays, Brian was at Lehman Brothers for eighteen years. He was based in London for six years and Tokyo for eight years (where he was Chief Technology Officer for Asia). Since 2004 he has lived and worked in New York. Brian became involved with StreetWise (as an officer) in 2007 and became the organization’s champion when he transitioned to Barclays in 2008. He was instrumental in helping establish the New Jersey program in the Barclays Jersey City office. Brian was born and raised in Ireland and has a business degree from University College Dublin.

Barbara Edwards Delsman is a consultant in nonprofit management with over 20 years’ experience as the former Executive Director and Development Director of The HOPE Program, one of NY City's most effective workforce development programs. Under her leadership, HOPE received the following awards and honors: Charity Navigator’s highest four star rating; “Best in America” seal of approval from the Local Independent Charities of America; the JPMorgan Chase Foundation award for “Best Practices in Workforce Development”; designation as one of The Economist Group’s “US Charities” and GE/NBC’s Women’s Network nonprofit partner; winner of the Goldman Sachs Capacity Partner and the Robin Hood Hero awards.
Since leaving HOPE in the summer of 2010, Barbara has been a coach and mentor to Executive Directors and Development Directors, helping them to develop the problem-solving skills and strategies they need to achieve their short and long term goals.
Barbara has experience in the corporate, education and nonprofit sectors. She worked in market research at AT&T, taught computer science to adults with physical disabilities at the University of Miami and math at Panama Canal College, and founded and directed Community Adoption Services in Iran. She has a BA in Mathematics and a MA in Experimental Psychology.

Matt was previously with Promontory Financial Group, a merchant banking firm focused on the financial services sector, where he helped launch Promontory Interfinancial Network. Previously he worked for Red Hat as Business Development Manager in its Strategic Planning & Corporate Development group. Matt also worked at Morgan Stanley within its strategic venture capital fund, concentrating on making investments in early-stage financial services companies. Prior to entering business school, he was a turnaround consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers in its Financial Advisory Services group. Matt received his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and B.A. in Economics and American Studies from Brandeis University, where he was an NCAA Academic All-American for tennis.

Brian helped co-found Glocap and is currently Head of the Private Equity Practice. At Glocap Brian oversees several aspects of the Executive Recruiting division and personally focuses placing experienced Principal and Partner-level investment professionals into Venture Capital and LBO funds. From his experience over the past 7 years covering the Private Equity industry, Brian has developed a deep insight on emerging compensation and hiring trends that allows for a more consultative approach when advising clients on shaping their core staffing/growth strategies. Before joining Glocap, Brian worked at Deutsche Morgan Grenfell (DMG) focusing mainly on corporate finance transactions in the telecommunications sector. Mr. Lukaj has executed hundreds of transactions over the course of his successful investment banking career, ranging in variety from mergers and acquisitions, underwriting of debt, equity and derivative securities, restructurings, exclusive sales, and other financial advisory mandates. Previously during his career at Bear Stearns, he contributed meaningfully to the development of one of the strongest investment banking franchises on Wall Street. Sarah Marie Martin is a Managing Director of Credit Suisse in the Financial Sponsors Group within the Investment Banking division, based in New York. She is responsible for covering a number of private equity clients. She has extensive expertise in originating and executing equity, leveraged loan, and high yield new issues. Sarah Marie joined CS First Boston in 1995 as an Investment Banking Analyst. Prior to joining the Financial Sponsor Group in 2006, she worked in the Equity and High Yield Capital Markets Groups. She earned her B.A. in Quantitative Economics with Distinction from Stanford University. She received her M.B.A. (while working full time) from Columbia Business School and was Valedictorian of her class.
Sarah Marie lives in the West Village with her husband and three children, Eyerus, Ash and Jamie. She is on the Board of the Gladney Center for Adoption and on the Leadership Council of the World Wide Orphans Foundation. -

Claire Silberman is a retired lawyer and current philanthropist/activist. Claire practiced corporate litigation and banking law until 1997. She occasionally consulted in the financial compliance area of Promontory Financial Group, a consulting firm for global financial services companies, from 2002-2006. Claire is a board member for several organizations in addition to StreetWise Partners: She serves on the Stanford Law School Board of Visitors and on the Sierra Club National Advancement Council, and is a Board Member for the Women's Campaign Forum and Women's Voices Women Vote. Claire is also on the Board of The Tank, a nonprofit performing arts venue for emerging artists of all genres. She occasionally consults to the Carbon Disclosure Project, which works with corporations to monitor their greenhouse gas emissions. Claire previously served on the board for The HOPE Program, a welfare-to-work organization based in Brooklyn, New York. Her philanthropy is focused on at-risk populations, progressive organizations and environmental groups. Additionally, she serves on the Citizens Union State Affairs Committee and the Public Service Committee of the New York City Bar Association.
Claire holds a BA and JD from Stanford University, and has lived in Brooklyn Heights with her husband and kids since 1988. She was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. -

Tony Snow is employed at Soros Fund Management LLC where he makes investments in global equities. Prior to Soros Fund Management, Mr. Snow also focused on investments in global equities at both Ardea Capital Management L.P. and Wyper Capital Management, L.P. Previously, Mr. Snow was employed at Lindsay Goldberg & Bessemer, a private equity firm, where he was an Associate focused on leveraged buyouts. He began his career at Merrill Lynch & Co. as an Analyst in the Mergers & Acquisitions group. Mr. Snow received a B.B.A. with high distinction from the University of Michigan, concentrating in finance and accounting, and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
