StreetWise Partners provides an effective, free job training program for highly motivated people who face multiple barriers to employment. StreetWise Partners encourages people to think about their career, not just their next job, and provides the tools and support required to set and achieve career goals. Our one year program matches trainees with two business mentors who provide them with guidance and personalized support throughout the year.

Our year long program enables you to work with one or two dedicated mentors who are uniquely matched with you to help you progress with your career goals. During the first three months (‘Career Ventures Program’), they will provide you with tailored support during our intensive weekly training, followed by nine months of structured ongoing support. Through our program, you will be able to gain valuable personalized training on career planning, resume and cover letter writing, interviewing techniques, how to expand your professional network, public speaking, computer skills practice (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint),and much more!

This is a FREE program. StreetWise Partners is a nationally recognized non-profit organization paving the way for workforce development.

If you want to apply to our programs, click here and you will be directed to our application form. Once we receive your application, you will be contacted by a member of StreetWise Partners staff. Qualifying applicants will then be invited to interview, where you would meet with two or more experienced StreetWise Partners mentors to discuss your interest in joining our program. You will also be asked to take a short basic computer test. Successful applicants will be informed over phone a few days after their interview, and unsuccessful applicants will be directed to other resources.
