Rahul is a Co-Founder of StreetWise Partners and currently serves the organization as its Vice Chairman and as a member of both the executive and marketing committees. Mr. Advani joined Energy Capital Partners, a private equity firm, in July 2005 as a Vice President. Prior to joining Energy Capital, he was the Director of Corporate Investment and Development for Starwood Hotels. Previously, he was a core team member that built and successfully sold Orion Power Holdings, Inc., a $4 billion wholesale energy company, in a three year period. Prior to joining Orion Power in 1999, he was as an investment banking analyst at Morgan Stanley from 1997 to 1999. He started his career in 1996 at PricewaterhouseCoopers. He received an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School and a B.A. in mathematical economics from Colgate University.
Singleton Beato is an award winning Human Resources leader with over twenty years of business experience spanning various industries including financial services, banking, media, real estate development, fitness and entertainment, as well as advertising. As part of the management team for JWT�s New York Office and in her role as Director of Human Resources, Singleton is responsible for the design, delivery and management of strategic people-centric programs that support more than 700 employees. In 2009, Singleton volunteered to take on the responsibility of conceiving and implementing a Diversity and Inclusion program for JWT. This pioneering effort has gained momentum and positive attention within the adverting industry. The success of JWT�s Diversity and Inclusion program was acknowledged when the American AdvertisingFederation presented Singleton with the Educator award at the 2009 Diversity Achievement and Mosaic ceremony. In addition to chairing JWT�s Diversity Committee, Singleton serves on the 4As Diversity Committee, the 4As Human Resources Committee, the WPP Diversity Council, the AdColor Steering Committee andthe Roundtable of Advertising Diversity Executives. Singleton lives in Teaneck, New Jersey, with her husband Marino, and son, Greyson.
Cameron is Managing Director with CVC US and joined in 2007 from Centre Partners, where he was Managing Director and had worked since 1998. He joined Centre Partners in 1998. Prior thereto, he worked in the mergers and acquisitions department at Bowles Hollowell Conner & Co. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Garden Fresh Holdings, Inc., BumbleBee Seafoods L.P., Firearms Training Systems, Inc., Quickie Holding, Inc., Bravo Sports, and StreetWise Partners.
Ben has been involved with StreetWise Partners in numerous capacities since its inception. Ben has experience as a Partner, Officer, Director of the San Francisco program and a Board of Advisors member. Mr. Chrnelich is currently the Senior Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer of the NYSE Euronext Advanced Trading Solutions, a leader in providing complete connectivity, data management and transaction solutions for trading firms, vendors and financial markets throughout the world. Prior to joining the NYSE, Ben was the Chief Administrative Officer for Equity Sales and Trading at Lehman Brothers. Ben also has held positions as the Controller for Schwab Capital Markets and a Vice President - Finance at Robertson Stephens in San Francisco, and with PricewaterhouseCoopers in New York in their Capital Markets Audit and Business Advisory group. Ben is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and graduated from Lehigh University with a B.S. in Accounting.
Allison is a seasoned social enterprise leader with extensive experience in international business, economic development, and corporate social responsibility (CSR). She's dedicated her career to creating sustainable employment opportunities for underserved populations, and creating a positive future for workers and their families. Most recently, Allison was Executive Director of StreetWise Partners. Prior to this, she managed business development for Verite, a recipient of a 2007 Skoll Award that helps corporations find innovative solutions to workplace problems in over 70 countries. She also held senior management roles at the Center for Women & Enterprise, MusicMatters, and CitySoft Inc., a recipient of MIT's Socially Responsible Business Award. Devore began her career as a consultant for Accenture and KPMG's communications and technology strategy practice. She monitored the 1999 elections in South Africa and was a fellow in McKinsey & Co's nonprofit initiative. She has been an advisor to Investing in Media that Matters - at Sundance, America Forward, and the U.S. State Department's President's Interagency Council on Women, among others. She received her B.A. in Economics from U.C. Irvine and Master's in Public Policy from Harvard's Kennedy School of Government.
Mr. Fariborz joined the StreetWise Partners Board in 2007. Mr. Fariborz is a Director at Hellman & Friedman in the New York office. Prior to joining the firm in 2006, Mr. Fariborz was employed by The Carlyle Group in both Washington, D.C. and New York. Previously, he was employed by Vestar Capital Partners and DLJ Merchant Banking Partners in New York. Mr. Fariborz graduated magna cum laude from Harvard College where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and earned an MBA with Distinction from the Harvard Business School.
Joseph is currently a Global Tax Engagement Partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in New York. Joe has over 20 years of experience rendering tax consulting services to a variety of clients in the financial services arena with a specific focus on U.S. and foreign-based multinational insurance companies. Joe was recently a 2004 Fellow at the New York City Partnership, and has been involved with various charities including the New York City Inner-City Scholarship Fund. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association, New York Society of Certified Public Accountants, and he holds a law degree from the Fordham University School of Law.
Jon Friedland is a General Partner at Porter Orlin, LLC where he makes investments in global equities. He is a graduate of Vassar College, 1991 and Columbia Business School, 1997. He is on the board of directors of the Longview Foundation and the Beaverkill Mountain Club.
Matt, the Founder of StreetWise Partners and former Chairman of StreetWise for 12 years, is a co-founder and Managing Partner at Contour Venture Partners, an early stage venture capital firm based in New York. Matt was previously with Promontory Financial Group, a merchant banking firm focused on the financial services sector, where he helped launch Promontory Interfinancial Network. Previously he worked for Red Hat as Business Development Manager in its Strategic Planning & Corporate Development group. Matt also worked at Morgan Stanley within its strategic venture capital fund, concentrating on making investments in early-stage financial services companies. Prior to entering business school, he was a turnaround consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers in its Financial Advisory Services group. Matt received his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and B.A. in Economics and American Studies from Brandeis University, where he was an NCAA Academic All-American for tennis.
John Iorillo is the Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Ambrose Employer Group, LLC. Prior to co-founding Ambrose Employer Group, John practiced tax law with Proskauer Rose in New York City. He is the recipient of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award for New York City in 2001. In addition to StreetWise Partners, John serves on the board of director of the Employer Services Assurance Corporation. He holds two law degrees - Master of Laws in Taxation from New York University School of Law, and a Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from Southwestern University School of Law. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California (UCSD). John lives with his wife, Kim, and their two children in Greenwich, Connecticut.
Brian has volunteered with StreetWise Partners since the spring of 2000 and was most recently a member of the Advisory Board. Brian helped co-found Glocap and is currently Head of the Private Equity Practice. At Glocap Brian oversees several aspects of the Executive Recruiting division and personally focuses placing experienced Principal and Partner-level investment professionals into Venture Capital and LBO funds. From his experience over the past 7 years covering the Private Equity industry, Brian has developed a deep insight on emerging compensation and hiring trends that allows for a more consultative approach when advising clients on shaping their core staffing/growth strategies. Before joining Glocap, Brian worked at Deutsche Morgan Grenfell (DMG) focusing mainly on corporate finance transactions in the telecommunications sector. Brian has a BS from the Wharton School in Economics with concentrations in finance and accounting.
Alan Landis joined StreetWise Partners Board of Directors in 2009. Mr. Landis was appointed Executive Director of the Corporate Strategy and Development unit of the Corporate Executive Board in 2007. In this position, he oversees the research, development, and implementation of new products through internal builds, strategic alliances or acquisitions. Since 2007, Alan has also chaired the CEB Community Investment Committee (CIC), helping to set the company’s vision for corporate philanthropic engagement. His research and product development career at CEB began in the Financial Services Practice of the Advisory Board Company (CEB’s predecessor) in 1995. Alan received a Master of Science degree at Georgetown University with a concentration in International Business, Finance and Trade. He received a J. William Fulbright Foundation Research Scholarship to study the effects of economic apertura on financial markets from 1993 to 1994. Alan also studied at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogota, Columbia, where he was awarded a certificate in Negotiation and Mediation of Conflicts in 1993. He received his Bachelor of Science, magna cum laude, in International Affairs from the University of Scranton in 1993.
Anton J. Levy is a Managing Director at General Atlantic LLC, a worldwide private equity firm, where he has worked since 1998. Mr. Levy works in General Atlantic's New York City and Greenwich offices where he heads General Atlantic's Media & Consumer practice. Mr. Levy has worked closely with many of General Atlantic's portfolio companies and is a director of several portfolio companies including Dice, Webloyalty and Zantaz and is a formal observer on the Genpact Global board of directors. Prior to joining General Atlantic, Mr. Levy was an investment banker with Morgan Stanley & Co. where he worked with the firm’s technology clients. Mr. Lukaj has more than 15 years of investment banking experience having originated, structured and executed more than 200 deals totaling over $100 billion of transaction value. Mr. Lukaj is a founder of Bank Street and aspires with his partners to create a premier middle market investment banking franchise focused on growth sectors of the global economy. Mr. Lukaj has executed hundreds of transactions over the course of his successful investment banking career, ranging in variety from mergers and acquisitions, underwriting of debt, equity and derivative securities, restructurings, exclusive sales, and other financial advisory mandates. During his career at Bear Stearns, he contributed meaningfully to the development of one of the strongest investment banking franchises on Wall Street. Although heavily weighted towards the Media, Communications and Technology industries in recent years, he also has a very broad industry experience in Industrial, Consumer, Retailing, Energy, Aerospace, Specialty Finance, Real Estate and Natural Resources arenas.
Claire Silberman practiced corporate litigation and banking law until her second son was born in 1997. She occasionally manages projects with Promontory Financial Group, in its financial compliance area. She's become active in several community organizations, including The HOPE Program, a welfare-to-work NGO on whose board she served; the Packer Collegiate Institute Parents Association, serving in many different capacities, including as incoming Secretary for 2008-09 and co-chair for their first "Green Expo" next March; and local political races; She supports a many nonprofits, the majority of which focus on at-risk populations.Claire was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. She holds a BA and JD from Stanford University, and has lived in Brooklyn Heights with her husband, Stuart, and kids since 1988.
Scott Simpson is a Managing Director in the Media and Telecom Group within the Investment Banking division of Credit Suisse. Based in New York, Mr. Simpson has specific responsibility for coverage of emerging and broadband communications companies including the hosting and managed services sector. Mr. Simpson has over 11 years experience in investment banking having executed over 70 transactions with aggregate value of over $35 billion for a broad range of companies. Mr. Simpson's transaction experience includes: mergers and acquisitions, equity offerings, private placements, leverage finance (ranging from high yield issuance and leverage buyouts to corporate restructurings) as well as principal investments. Mr. Simpson joined Credit Suisse First Boston in 2000 through the merger of CSFB with Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette ("DLJ"). Prior to the merger, he was a member of the Media and Telecom Group within the Investment Banking division of DLJ. Prior to Credit Suisse and DLJ, Mr. Simpson worked for Booz-Allen & Hamilton as a Senior Consultant in the Worldwide Technology Business Group. Mr. Simpson holds a MBA from Columbia Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland at College Park.

Prior to joining Ardea Capital, Mr. Snow was a Senior Analyst at Wyper Capital Management, L.P. Previously, Mr. Snow was employed at Lindsay Goldberg & Bessemer, a private equity firm, where he was an Associate focused on global leveraged buyouts. He began his career at Merrill Lynch & Co. as an Analyst in the Mergers & Acquisitions group.
